Empowering young women to lead with courage and act justly, making a difference in whatever sphere of life they choose
Our Vision is to provide a contemporary Mercy education in the spirit of Catherine McAuley.
The Vertical House Pastoral Care System, which sees students grouped in Houses rather than Year Groups for Pastoral Care, fosters strong links between girls, teachers and parents/carers.
The OLMC Strategic Improvement Plan ‘Transforming Towards 2020’ provides us with a transformative framework to guide our direction over the coming years and to continue building OLMC Parramatta.
OLMC is a Christ-centred learning community founded in the Mercy tradition. The policies of the College serve to promote the dignity and uniqueness of each human person.
The OLMC motto, Sub Tuum Praesidium, is Latin for ‘under your protection’: it is the beginning of an ancient prayer of the Church which acknowledges Mary, the Mother of God and our Universal Mother, as our protector and intercessor.
OLMC is very proud of its ex-student community. The many women who have gone on to achieve wonderful things in so many different areas are a tribute to the unique, quality Mercy Education that the College offers.
