Student Leadership

Student leadership structures at OLMC aim to:

• provide students in all year levels with opportunities to undertake leadership roles among their peers.
• develop a vibrant community among the students of the College through active and effective student leadership.
• provide processes to allow students to exercise effective choice in the election of student leaders.
• provide support structures within the College to facilitate effective student leadership.

House Councils

Each House has a Council comprising a Junior and Senior Councillor from each Homeroom. Each Council of 14 students is elected for a Semester and is led by the Year 12 House Leaders.

Mercy Action Representatives

Each House has three Mercy Action Representatives which are selected each Semester.

Leadership Positions

32 Year 12 students form the Student Leadership Team which is led by the Executive (Head Girl, Assistant Head Girl, SRC President and Assistant SRC President). The other students in the group are then allocated portfolios.
